Open Media Generation (Youth Group)

Brought to you by Denver Open Media and The Elitch Theatre Academy

Open Media Generation (OMG) is a free, weekly program for Denver Metro youth ages 11-18 and young adults ages 19-21 are welcome to join as peer leaders.

OMG is held in Studio A and the Learning Lab at Denver Open Media, 700 Kalamath on Saturdays at 2:00pm. We will finish at 5pm but students can use the open lab until 6:00pm to work on their own projects. We will need your consent to have your youth involved in OMG!

The program is designed to involve students in creating short films, videos and podcasts. They will gain experience through each stage of production and develop the skills to work with others.

We have partnered up with the International Youth Silent Film Festival and will be teaching the students as they make silent films to be screened at the Denver Regional Youth Film Festival in Nov. 2020 during Denver Arts Week.

Please submit this Consent and Release form to us as soon as possible to get your child enrolled in the program.

The Curtain Playhouse

The Curtain Playhouse was founded in 2005 with a mission of bringing quality theater education to the Denver area. In 2019, we celebrated our 135th production.

It is our mission to develop in our students confidence in their own sense of creativity.

The Curtain Playhouse is a theatre organization in the Denver area. We offer classes for students ages 3-18 as well as occasional professional theatre productions.
